At every exhaust system is handcrafted with attention to quality, durability, and performance.
This warranty policy outlines the coverage, limitations, and conditions applicable to AEW products.
1. Warranty Coverage
AEW India provides warranty coverage only against manufacturing defects in workmanship
and material quality under normal usage conditions.
Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from AEW India or authorized dealers.
2. Stainless Steel Exhaust Warranty
Stainless steel exhaust systems are covered against:
- Manufacturing defects
- Structural weld failures under normal usage
- Mounting bracket failures caused by manufacturing defects
Important Notes
- Heat discoloration/bluing is normal in stainless steel exhaust systems and is not considered a defect.
- Minor handcrafted finish variations are part of the manufacturing process.
3. Mild Steel Exhaust Warranty
Mild steel exhaust systems:
- Carry no warranty against rusting or corrosion
- Are considered budget-oriented products designed for economical performance upgrades
Chrome-plated and black-coated mild steel exhausts may naturally develop:
- Surface rust
- Coating wear
- Discoloration due to heat and weather exposure
These conditions are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.
4. Black Coated Finish Disclaimer
Black-coated exhaust systems may:
- Fade over time
- Develop heat marks
- Change shade due to engine temperature and riding conditions
Such cosmetic changes are normal and not covered under warranty.
5. Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not apply to:
- Rusting or corrosion on mild steel products
- Heat discoloration
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from accidents or impact
- Improper installation
- Incorrect tuning or engine modifications
- Misuse, abuse, or racing usage
- Physical dents or scratches
- Water ingress or flood damage
- Damage caused by loose fitment or improper maintenance
- Modified or altered exhaust systems
- Consumable parts such as packing, baffles, clamps, or coatings
6. Installation Responsibility
AEW India strongly recommends installation by experienced mechanics or professionals.
Damage caused due to:
- Incorrect installation
- Improper tightening
- Welding modifications
- Fitment errors
will not be covered under warranty.
7. Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty support, customers must provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Product photographs/videos
- Description of the issue
AEW India reserves the right to:
- Inspect the product
- Approve or reject claims after evaluation
- Repair or replace only the defective component where applicable
8. Shipping for Warranty Claims
Customers may be required to ship products for inspection.
Unless otherwise approved:
- Shipping costs to AEW India are to be borne by the customer
- Return shipping terms will be communicated after inspection
9. Limitation of Liability
AEW India’s liability is limited only to repair or replacement of defective products
as determined by our inspection team.
AEW India shall not be responsible for:
- Labour or installation charges
- Vehicle downtime
- Consequential damages
- Losses arising from product misuse or improper installation
10. Policy Changes
AEW India reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice.
